Highland Games! Look at those Kilt´s Fly!

Although it was rainy and a touch cool we jumped in the car good and early to go highland gaming! (No we didn´t play world of warcraft in kilts or halo for that matter) we went to see burley men throw logs, weights, shot put and play bagpipes! all in kilts! and also some cute little highland dancer girls! One of whom kindly kept Jiku warm for us!

We even managed to convince the Chieftan of the Games and his Wife to hold Jiku in her Robertson Tartan tie as the Chief was a Robertson too!

We got to see the ´heavies´ toss 56 pound weights over a bar the height of a double decker bus with just one hand.. after doing a few rounds of shotput and then they decided their arms were still ok to run with logs and toss them over! oh wow! crazy strong men.. made me very worried Ciara and Jiku would be going home with a burley highlander and his burley owl named McSexy!




























We then hightailed it to Achlemic Beach after a long day to get some sleep before heading to the Isle of Skye the next day!
